The John Gyles Education Fund is a private, benevolent endeavor established in 1990 with the help of a Canadian/American benefactor. The fund is available each year to full-time students in both Canada and the United States.

Awards are available for both male and female students for all areas of postsecondary study. It is also available to high school senior, undergraduate, and graduate students.

• Must be a Canadian or American citizen
• Must have a minimum GPA of 2.7 on a 4.0 cumulative scale
• Must be a full-time student or accepted to a college or university as an undergraduate or graduate student
