The John Alexander Memorial Scholarship Fund

The John Alexander Memorial Scholarship Fund is administered by the Schenectady County Bar Association.  

ELIGIBILITY:

1.  Applicant must reside in Schenectady County

2.  Applicant must be a full time J.D. or Bachelor of Law Degree in an ABA accredited New York law school.

The income of the trust and the number of applicants determines the amount of the scholarship to be awarded to each recipient in a given year.  As such, there is no set amount awarded for the scholarship from year to year.  Each recipient for the 2015-16 academic year scholarship distribution was awarded $4,571.50.
