The Joseph M. Rizzo Endowed Scholarship

Purpose:____________________________________________________________________

The Joseph M. Rizzo Endowed Scholarship has been established to provide economic support to second- or third-year Hofstra Law student(s) with financial need who demonstrates academic achievement and an interest in pursuing a career in criminal law.

Award:______________________________________________________________________

An award will be made for one academic year.

Eligibility:___________________________________________________________________

All applicants must be a 2L or 3L student in good standing at Hofstra University School of Law.

To apply for the scholarship, please submit:______________________________________

A completed and signed Joseph M. Rizzo Endowed Scholarship application;

A copy of your resume;

A personal statement (please see application form for details).

A copy of your most recent law school transcript.

Submissions will be reviewed by Joseph M. Rizzo Scholarship Committee. The committee will recommend the final candidate(s) to the Dean of the Law School, who maintains final authority regarding the final award recipient(s).
