Description
Purpose:
The Jesse R. Baker Memorial Annual Scholarship has been established to provide economic support to second- or third-year Hofstra Law student(s) with financial need who has an interest in the field of housing rights or real estate law or has demonstrated service to a disadvantaged community during his/her time at Hofstra Law.
Award:
An award will be made for one academic year.
Eligibility:
All applicants must be a 2L or 3L student in good standing at Hofstra University School of Law.
To apply for the scholarship, please submit:
- A completed and signed Jesse R. Baker Memorial Scholarship application;
- A copy of your resume;
- A personal statement (please see application form for details).
- A copy of your most recent law school transcript.
Deadline for Submission:
All documents should be submitted in a sealed envelope to the Office of Enrollment Management, no later than 5:00 p.m. on March 13, 2015.
