The Columbian Lawyers Association continues to offer four scholarships of $2,500 to be awarded for the current school year and for each year the students selected continue their studies.
The scholarships will be awarded only to law students of some Italian heritage attending law schools within the City of New York and the Counties of Nassau, Suffolk and Westchester.
Students to be considered, must send a letter, indicating the source of their Italian heritage; the reason for the need of assistance; and a brief statement as to their goals and aspirations, on or before March 15th, 2013. Additional Information: the students that are chosen as recipients will receive payment by our forwarding their award to their school bursar to credit their account. They will receive notice of their being chosen simultaneously therewith. Those students who received awards previously, must notify Frank Mangiatordi, in writing, confirming they have continued their studies for the 2012/2013 year, by March 15th.
