Millbank Diversity Scholars

WHO SHOULD APPLY 

Milbank is committed to increasing diversity in our Firm and in the legal profession.  The Diversity Scholars Program supports our continued dedication to recruiting and developing a diverse pool of highly talented lawyers.  Milbank will select two Scholars who will receive a salaried summer associate position and a $50,000 scholarship. ($25,000 to be distributed during the students’ third year of law school, and payment of the additional $25,000, contingent upon receipt and acceptance of a Milbank permanent offer, to be paid upon the students’ joining the Firm.)  Our summer program is extremely comprehensive and personal.  Summer associates rotate through the Firm's practice areas during a twelve week period.  The program is managed by the Recruiting Committee, along with a team from each practice group to ensure that each summer associate receives a broad and challenging experience.  Numerous formal and informal social events round out the experience of the summer associates.

Interested students must submit a current resume, official law school transcript, a signed and dated application form, and an essay.
