Starting December 1, Arent Fox LLP will begin accepting applications from first-year law students for its 9th Annual Diversity Scholarship Program. Three awards, in the amount of $15,000 each in financial support, will go to three diverse students who demonstrate a commitment to practicing law at the highest level.

Applications will be accepted until 11:59 p.m. (local time) on January 22, 2014. The scholarship award includes a position in Arent Fox’s 2014 Summer Program in the Los Angeles, New York, and Washington, DC, offices.

 Arent Fox’s 2014 Summer Program will last for 10 weeks, from May 19 through July 25, 2014. The summer associate salary is $3,000 per week and the scholarship recipient will receive the $15,000 award in July 2014. All scholarship recipients are expected to participate in the 2014 Summer Program.

The Arent Fox Diversity Scholarship Program was started in 2006 and is part of the firm’s commitment to attracting top lawyers from diverse backgrounds. Since its conception the firm has awarded 22 scholarships and recognized 31 finalists throughout the country. Those winning students have been selected from thousands of compelling applicants.

Interviews for scholarship applicants will be held in February, with winners announced in March 2014.
