THE MAUI COUNTY BAR ASSOCIATION ARTHUR T. UEOKA SCHOLARSHIP

The Maui County Bar Association (“MCBA”) accepts applications each year for

scholarships to potentially be awarded to students with significant ties to Maui County

who are planning to attend, or are currently attending law school and demonstrate a

compelling financial need. These scholarships are awarded in memory of Arthur T.

Ueoka, a former judge and prosecutor for the County of Maui.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR APPLICATION

To apply for the MCBA Arthur T. Ueoka Scholarship, please submit the following

documents:

• Cover letter;

• A fully completed application form;

• Proof of enrollment in law school;

• Student Aid Report (if the applicant receives financial aid); and

• A current resume.

Your completed application must be submitted to the Maui County Bar

Association Scholarship Committee on or before September 30 of the applicable year. The

scholarship will be awarded at the MCBA’s annual scholarship golf tournament in July.
